Dr. Stringham was born in New York City, and grew up in a beach
town near San Diego, California. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology at San Diego State University. Following his graduation
from the University of Southern California, School of Medicine, he completed a three year residency in internal medicine at
the University of California in 1996. He subsequently moved to northern Nevada, where he has been in private practice for
ten years.
While in Nevada, Dr. Stringham has served as Chief of Staff of Humboldt General Hospital, and currently
serves as the medical director of the Humboldt County Emergency Medical Service. He has been instrumental in directing and
promoting numerous occupational health and safety programs for local mines and other industries.
He is married,
and has a five-year-old daughter. His personal interests include flying, kayaking, racing vintage formula race cars, and speaking
Italian. He is the author of numerous medical articles, and enjoys giving lectures and presentations about a wide range of
medical topics.
